MASAR Solutions is looking for an experienced freelance Financial & Performance Analyst to support our restaurant consulting and performance diagnostic projects across the UAE.
We need someone who can transform complex restaurant data into accurate financial insights, identify performance gaps, and support evidence-based business recommendations.
What You'll Do
Prepare, review, and analyze restaurant Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, EBITDA, gross margins, and operating profitability.
Process and reconcile POS, sales, inventory, purchasing, payroll, and financial data.
Analyze food costs, labour costs, operating expenses, margins, and profitability.
Evaluate delivery aggregator commissions, discounts, settlements, and their impact on restaurant profitability.
Identify discrepancies, cost leakage, and performance improvement opportunities.
Prepare KPI calculations, financial summaries, and multi-location comparisons.
Work with our proprietary audit platform to validate data and develop structured analytical findings.
Support preparation of professional restaurant performance reports.
Engagement Terms
Independent freelance contractor, paid per project. Remote engagement with no fixed monthly commitment. Assignments depend on project availability.
Skills3+ years of financial analysis, management accounting, or business performance analysis experience.
Strong understanding of UAE restaurant economics, F&B cost structures, and local accounting practices.
Working knowledge of UAE VAT requirements and their treatment in restaurant financial reporting.
Familiarity with UAE food delivery aggregators, their commission structures, fees, promotions, and settlement reconciliation.
Proven ability to analyze P&L statements, calculate EBITDA, and interpret financial performance.
Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query, Pivot Tables, and data reconciliation.
Experience with restaurant/F&B financials is strongly preferred.
Ability to work independently with incomplete or inconsistent datasets.
Strong analytical thinking, accuracy, and professional English communication.
Experience with Power BI or similar tools is an advantage.
