Its services include risk assessment and compliance consultancy, professional training programs, facility audits and inspections, firefighting services, emergency response, and specialized rescue operations.

Operating alongside Civil Defense through strategically located stations, EFRC combines international best practices, advanced technology, and a highly experienced multinational team to deliver reliable, compliant, and scalable safety solutions that protect industries, infrastructure, and communities nationwide.

We are seeking to recruit eight (8) Firefighters to ensure continuous emergency readiness and full operational coverage for a power plant in Abu Dhabi, including four (4) Arabic‑speaking Firefighters and four (4) Firefighters of other nationalities.

This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Firefighter based in the Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. Responsibilities include responding to fire, hazardous material, and rescue incidents, ensuring effective emergency action and supporting evacuation and first aid when required. He will operate and maintain firefighting vehicles, equipment, PPE, and rescue tools to ensure continuous operational readiness.

The Firefighter will conduct fire watch duties, safety inspections, and hazard identification, while ensuring compliance with UAE Fire Code, and site procedures. The Firefighter will maintain accurate documentation and participate in drills, refresher training, and HSE programs to uphold professional competency and emergency preparedness.

• 10+2 Higher Secondary Diploma or equivalent

• NFPA 1001 - Firefighter 1+ 2
• NFPA 472/NFPA 1072 – Hazmat Awareness and Operations
• Equivalent approved and accredited certifications will be also accepted

• UAE or GCC Heavy‑Duty Vehicle (HGV) driver's license (mandatory)
• Physically fit for firefighting and rescue operations

• Minimum 2 years of relevant firefighting experience
• Industrial, municipal, aviation, or oil & gas experience preferred

• One month on duty, one month off duty
• 12‑hour shift per team
