ABOUT THE ROLEThe Senior Specialist, Government Coordination & Protocol will serve as a key focal point for engagement and coordination with government entities, customers, and strategic stakeholders. The role is responsible for managing official communications, government engagements, protocol arrangements, visits and delegations, while ensuring effective coordination with internal stakeholders and maintaining high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and protocol.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Coordinate and maintain effective relationships with government entities and key stakeholders.
- Act as a focal point for government-related communications, requests, and engagements.
- Coordinate official meetings, VIP visits, delegations, ceremonies, and government engagements.
- Manage protocol arrangements, including agendas, invitations, schedules, access, hospitality, and logistics.
- Prepare and manage official correspondence, briefing notes, presentations, reports, and related documentation.
- Liaise with internal departments to obtain required information, approvals, and responses.
- Track government and stakeholder requests, commitments, and action items through to closure.
- Maintain accurate records of official communications, stakeholder engagements, and documentation.
- Support management with stakeholder updates, briefing materials, and presentations.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion.
- Support the resolution of stakeholder inquiries and issues through effective internal coordination.
- Ensure all government coordination and protocol activities comply with applicable policies and procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Relations, Public Relations, Communications, Government Affairs, Marketing, or a related field
. - Minimum 6–7 years of relevant experience in government coordination, government relations, protocol, stakeholder management, or a related function.
- Experience coordinating with government entities and senior stakeholders.
- Strong Arabic and English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience preparing formal correspondence and official documentation.
- Previous experience in UAE government relations and protocol
. - Experience coordinating VIP visits, official delegations, high-level meetings, and formal events
. - Experience with in the defence, government, manufacturing, or regulated sectors
. - Knowledge of UAE government protocols and procedures.
- Experience handling confidential or sensitive documentation.
- Strong reporting, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
