Via Medica International Healthcare LLC is looking for a Primary EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) to work for one of our prestigious projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

A Primary EMT with a DOH license provides pre-hospital emergency medical care and transportation to patients. This role involves responding to emergency calls, assessing patients, administering appropriate medical treatment, and ensuring the safe transport of patients to healthcare facilities. The EMT works under the medical direction of a physician and follows established protocols and guidelines.

• Respond promptly to emergency calls and arrive at the scene quickly and safely.
• Conduct scene size‑up to determine the nature and extent of illness or injury.
• Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients to determine medical conditions.
• Administer BLS procedures including CPR, AED usage, airway management, and bleeding control.
• Provide appropriate pre‑hospital emergency medical care following DOH protocols.
• Safely transport patients to healthcare facilities.
• Communicate with medical staff during transport to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during transport.
• Complete accurate and detailed patient care reports (PCRs) and other required documentation.
• Ensure ambulance and equipment are clean, stocked, and in good working order; conduct routine checks and maintenance.
• Participate in continuing education and training to maintain DOH certification and stay updated on medical practices.
• Attend mandatory meetings and training sessions as required by the employer.
• Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and protocols, including DOH standards; maintain patient confidentiality.
• Follow safety procedures to minimize risk to patients, oneself, and others.

• DOH Passer/DOH License – Primary EMT
• Experience as an EMT and clinical assessment proficiency.
