Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker with a strong background in psychology and significant experience in handling individuals with special needs to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of psychological principles and practices, along with a commitment to improving the well-being and quality of life for our clients.

• Assess the psychological and social needs of individuals with special needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide counseling and support to individuals and their families.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, educators, and community resources.
• Advocate for the rights and needs of individuals with special needs.
• Conduct regular evaluations to monitor progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of client interactions and progress.
• Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in psychology and social work.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Social Work or Psychology from a recognized institution.
• Valid social work or psychology licensure/certification in Abu Dhabi.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with special needs.
• Strong understanding of psychological theories and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English is preferred.
• Cultural sensitivity and awareness, particularly regarding the needs of individuals with special needs in the UAE context.
