We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our client's team in Abu Dhabi. This position is within one of the UAE’s largest government-affiliated healthcare networks, recognized for delivering world-class patient care and operating state-of-the‑art medical facilities. The Clinical Pharmacist will provide expert medication management, collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams, and ensure safe and effective use of medications.
Responsibilities- Review, evaluate, and manage patient medication therapy in collaboration with physicians and healthcare teams.
- Provide clinical advice on drug selection, dosage, interactions, and side effects.
- Monitor patient responses to medications and adjust therapy as necessary.
- Educate patients and caregivers about medication use, storage, and safety.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, policies, and national healthcare regulations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to clinical decision-making.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of pharmaceutical care.
- Stay updated on the latest pharmaceutical research, drug developments, and best practices.
- Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm
D) degree. - Valid UAE pharmacy license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Minimum of 3 years’ clinical pharmacy experience, including pediatric patient exposure preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, and clinical guidelines.
- Excellent communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
