MAIN PURPOSE OF JOBTo provide comprehensive biomedical technical support to the business unit, including preventative maintenance and repair on medical equipment
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS- Perform scheduled maintenance and performance assurance inspections on equipment to ensure safe and effective operating conditions
- Test and calibrate components using a variety of manuals, troubleshooting techniques, and code requirements
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies, including end user training
- Repair and replace biomedical equipment and systems
- Install and adjust a variety of biomedical and research equipment
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and act as first level support for biomedical queries
A relevant associate degree in biomedical engineering or a related field from an accredited institution
REQUIRED EXPERIENCEAt least 3 years' experience in the installation, repair, maintenance and calibration of biomedical equipment in a healthcare setting
