Research Assistant

Job Description

We require an experienced, enthusiastic and self-motivated research assistant for an ongoing study on Falls Injury Prevention in the United Arab Emirates. This is a full-time job, and the duties include: literature search, screening tool development and adaptation, site visits, data collection, and data entry and analysis for elderly patients at risk of falls.

• Master's degree (or near completion) in relevant subjects such as health science and public health or MD.

• Postgraduate research training.
• Experience working with older adults and people at risk of falls.
• Familiarization with falls prevention, injury prevention, and rehabilitation research.

• Background experience in health sciences, public health, and related disciplines.
• Skills in qualitative and quantitative research.
• Experience in data analysis software such as Excel, SPSS, NVivo, and Machine learning.
• Working knowledge of randomized controlled study (RCTs) (desirable).
• Good written and verbal communication skills with fluency in the Arabic language.
• Ability to work independently and within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
