As a Laboratory Director, you will oversee all laboratory operations within the clinic, ensuring full compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards while delivering outstanding clinical and operational results. This is a key leadership role with direct impact on patient outcomes, laboratory quality, and team performance.
You will collaborate closely with clinical and leadership teams to optimize laboratory processes and continuously improve performance.
What you will do:- Oversee daily laboratory operations and ensure smooth, high-quality service delivery
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulatory standards
- Monitor laboratory performance metrics and report regularly to the Regional Laboratory Director
- Maintain accountability for the accuracy and quality of laboratory data, KPIs, and reporting to local authorities
- Implement and maintain robust quality control procedures
- Lead, mentor, and support laboratory staff to achieve high performance and engagement
- Support training and professional development of laboratory personnel
- Ensure the laboratory is properly equipped with the necessary resources and technology
- Promote safe laboratory practices, incident reporting, and shared learning
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence
- Collaborate with local leadership to optimize laboratory processes and efficiency

- University degree in a relevant field (Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology or similar)
- Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) preferred
- Valid local registration as a Clinical Embryologist
- Proficiency in all laboratory processes, including advanced techniques such as embryo biopsy
- ESHRE Senior Clinical Embryologist certification (highly desirable)
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Senior Embryologist
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Strong background in laboratory quality standards and process development
- Experience in coaching, team coordination, and performance management
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Excellent communication, transparency, and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Results-oriented and hands-on leader
- Strategic thinker with strong decision-making and risk assessment skills
