This vital role involves providing advanced medical care to athletes and active individuals, focusing on injury management, rehabilitation, and optimization of athletic performance. You will work collaboratively with a diverse healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes for those you serve.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and diagnostics of sports-related injuries.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans to support recovery and enhance performance.
• Collaborate with physical therapists, athletic trainers, and other health professionals to deliver integrated care.
• Educate athletes and coaches about injury prevention strategies and wellness practices.
• Perform necessary interventions, including injections and therapeutic procedures.
• Stay updated on the latest sports medicine research and advancements.
• Engage in community outreach programs to promote health and fitness.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a residency in Sports Medicine or a related field.
• Board certification in Sports Medicine is highly preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in sports medicine.
• Strong background in injury prevention, management, and rehabilitation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
