Patient Access Officer-Longevity Clinic – Admin
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for ensuring appropriate and accurate scheduling of all patients availing services at the facility. Using properly the facility's registration system; ensuring all insurance benefits, eligibility and pre-certification and/or authorizations meet payers’ protocol. Generating, monitoring and reviewing daily cash receipts, registration reports and patient collections.
Responsible for handling routine patient inquiries related to the admission process, and insurance verification.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Communicates and interacts professionally with patients/families under all circumstances, taking into consideration local and diverse cultures.
- Ensures adequate work force on reception and call center functions. Distributes the work as needed to meet the operational priorities of the department.
- Ensure implementation of the accurate process by patient access representatives for registration, billing and insurance related activities.
- Assists in verifying eligibility for insurance patients as required.
- Maintains data accuracy in HIS with required documents.
- Monitors service availability and identifies opportunities to optimize operations.
- Maintains professional relationship with other departments.
- Participates in departmental quality improvement initiatives and applies quality improvement tools and techniques to achieve desired outcomes.
- Handles patients/families complaints and enquiries.
- Accepts working different shift duties to cover the department 24/7 hours.
- Responds promptly to internal and external requests according to organizational guidelines and protocols.
- Completes complaints investigations within agreed deadlines.
- Ensures clinics’ fill rate according to the set targets.
- Collaborates and achieves the departmental KPIs within assigned area/s in a timely manner.
Experience :

- 2-4 year of relevant experience
- Experience in large healthcare facility

Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any relevant field
