To provide clinical psychology services in line with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibility Areas- Conduct detailed psychological assessments using standardized tools and clinical interviews.
- Formulate referral questions and select appropriate psychometric measures.
- Analyze data to formulate clinical impressions and diagnoses.
- Prepare structured psychological reports for clinical teams and stakeholders.
- Develop action plans based on evaluation outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based psychotherapies.
- Deliver psychotherapy across modalities (CBT, ACT, DBT, brief therapy).
- Continuously monitor progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
- Ensure cultural sensitivity and patient-centered care in all interventions.
- Facilitate group therapy, family sessions, and psychoeducation where appropriate.
- Collaborate with fertility specialists and genetic counsellors to deliver consistent and empathetic information (Applicable to IVF only).
- Support patients in understanding implications of adverse findings, including risk communication.
- Participate in MDT meetings and case discussions to support integrated care.
- Provide consultative input to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Refer patients to other services when clinically indicated.
- Recognize own professional limitations and seek guidance when required.
- Support organizational policies and legal frameworks in decision-making.
- Maintain clear, accurate, and timely clinical records in line with legal and institutional standards.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with regulatory policies.
- Record relevant coding and documentation for insurance and billing.
- Report irregularities or record-keeping discrepancies.
- Participate in internal audits and quality assurance activities.
- Demonstrate commitment to ethical practice and client welfare.
- Identify and resolve ethical dilemmas in a timely, principled manner.
- Maintain professional boundaries and respect client autonomy.
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and postgraduate degree in Clinical Psychology (Master’s or Doctorate) from an accredited university.
Certification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), psychometrics, or similar specialized therapeutic approaches.
Continuing professional development in advanced clinical methods or neuropsychological assessment.
Required ExperienceMinimum 5 years of clinical experience in psychological assessment and intervention.
Experience delivering psychotherapy across different modalities and patient demographics.
Experience in a hospital or multidisciplinary clinical setting is highly desirable.
Exposure to multicultural or UAE-based healthcare environments preferred.

- UAE healthcare regulatory framework and related requirements.
