Role Description The Speech Therapist will provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for children with speech, language, and communication challenges in an on-site setting in Abu Dhabi. This full-time role involves conducting standardized evaluations, developing individualized therapy plans, and delivering one-on-one and small-group sessions tailored to each child’s developmental profile. The Speech Therapist will collaborate with families, multidisciplinary team members, and schools to ensure consistent, holistic support and to share strategies that can be applied across settings.
Day-to-day responsibilities include documenting progress, maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and participating in case discussions and parent coaching sessions. The role also involves contributing to program development, evidence-based practice, and ongoing professional learning to enhance service quality.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Speech Therapy, with the ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Expertise in assessing and treating Speech and Communication Disorders in children.
- Experience working with Language Disorders, including expressive and receptive language difficulties.
- Competence in managing Dysphagia and related feeding and swallowing concerns in pediatric populations.
- Recognized degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent, as required in Abu Dhabi/UAE.
- Prior clinical experience in pediatric settings, such as child development centers, schools, or hospitals.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and communicate clearly with families and caregivers.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous learning, and culturally responsive care.
- Proficiency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
