We are looking for a skilled and experienced Phlebotomist to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will receive a salary of 1200 and is open to foreign applicants.

The Phlebotomist will be responsible for performing venipuncture on patients in order to collect blood samples for laboratory testing. The successful candidate must have experience with venipuncture techniques and must be able to work with precision and accuracy. Must also have excellent communication skills with the ability to explain the procedure, put patients at ease, and answer any queries they may have.

• Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science or related field
• Proven experience as a Phlebotomist in a clinical setting
• Good knowledge of laboratory equipment
• Ability to work accurately under pressure
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of health and safety standards
• Ability to work flexible hours (including evening/weekend shifts)

• Perform venipuncture on patients using appropriate techniques, equipment, and safety measures
• Ensure that blood samples are labeled correctly before sending them off for laboratory testing
• Maintain accurate records of all blood samples collected
• Provide information about the procedure to nervous patients, responding promptly to their questions
• Clean, maintain and sterilize equipment as required
• Follow established protocols for specimen collection, labeling, handling, storage, transport, etc.
• Follow health and safety guidelines when working with potentially hazardous materials
