Phlebotomist job in Abu-Dhabi UAE
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Phlebotomist to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients, ensuring that the collection procedure is performed in accordance with established medical standards and safety guidelines. The individual must be highly organized, detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field and previous experience as a Phlebotomist. The ability to communicate effectively with staff, patients, and their families is essential. In addition, the candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate good judgment when faced with challenging situations.
Responsibilities- Collecting blood specimens from patients in accordance with established medical standards
- Labeling specimens accurately and ensuring that all labels are legible
- Maintaining patient records in an organized manner
- Following basic safety protocols when handling potentially infectious samples
- Ensuring that all collection materials are sterile and properly disposed of after each collection
- Storing completed specimens according to appropriate temperature requirements
- Working closely with laboratory staff to ensure an efficient workflow
Salary for this role is 1600 AED per month. We are open to considering applications from foreigners.
