Responsibilities:- ensuring the accurate dispensing of medication orders while maintaining patient confidentiality.
- verifying prescription information
- stocking shelves with medications
- operating cash registers
- maintaining proper documentation records
- counselling customers on their medication usage and side effects
- providing assistance to other pharmacy staff members when needed.
- possess a Pharmacy degree or related certification from an accredited institution or program; knowledge of standard pharmacy practice is also beneficial but not essential.
- excellent customer service skills as well as strong communication abilities in order to effectively counsel customers on their medications.
- computer literacy is required in order to use pharmacy databases effectively and accurately enter patient information into our systems.
