Clinical Therapeutic Delivery
Provide professional massage treatments including Swedish deep tissue sports lymphatic drainage and other modalities as required adapting pressure and techniques to individual needs
Client Assessment Care Planning
Conduct thorough client consultations and assessments prior to treatment record medical history injuries contraindications and preferences to inform safe and effective care plans
Personalised Treatment Experience
Deliver bespoke treatment programmes for routine care short term concerns and pre post event or travel needs provide aftercare advice and self management techniques
Standards Hygiene Safety
Maintain high standards of cleanliness for treatment rooms equipment and linens in line with health safety and infection control policies complete records of cleaning and equipment checks
Scheduling Record Keeping
Manage appointment bookings maintain accurate client treatment records track treatment plans and report any concerns to the Head of Household or appointed manager
Communication Professionalism
Communicate with discretion and empathy liaise with household staff medical professionals or fitness specialists when required to ensure coordinated care and continuity
Continuous Development
Stay current with massage techniques safety protocols and industry best practice through ongoing professional development and maintain required registrations and insurance
Additional Duties
Support household wellbeing initiatives assist with event preparations involving wellbeing services and undertake other duties as reasonably requested to support smooth household operations
- Minimum 3 years’ professional experience as a qualified massage therapist in private households, spas, clinical or high‑end hospitality environments.
- Recognised qualification in massage therapy or complementary therapies
- Proficiency across a range of modalities including Swedish, deep tissue and sports massage; additional therapies such as lymphatic, aromatherapy or remedial techniques desirable.
- Strong understanding of contraindications, anatomy and safe practice, with ability to adapt treatments for medical conditions and post‑operative clients under guidance.
- Excellent communication, empathy and discretion appropriate to a VVIP household; professional appearance and manner at all times.
- High levels of organisation, time management and record‑keeping skills; ability to work flexibly including evenings, weekends and travel with the household when required.
- Valid professional insurance and eligibility to work in the UK.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous but not essential.
