Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our healthcare team. The role involves providing psychological assessment, therapy, and support to patients with a wide range of mental health conditions. The successful candidate will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct psychological assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and therapy sessions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
- Provide evidence-based interventions such as CBT, psychodynamic therapy, or other appropriate modalities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Offer crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing acute psychological distress.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date patient records.
- Participate in case discussions, supervision, and continuous professional development.
- Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, coping strategies, and available support systems.
- Master’s degree or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Valid license/registration as a Clinical Psychologist in the UAE (DOH).
- Clinical experience (preferably in a Mental Health hospital).
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and therapeutic interventions.
- Fluency in Arabic is preferred due to patient group.
