Danat Al Emarat is a world-class specialty women’s and children’s hospital in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. It offers advanced medical services across specialties including Neonatology, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Women’s Health. The hospital is one of the very few to encompass a dedicated Fetal Medicine Department along with a full-fledged Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in the UAE. This has established Danat Al Emarat as a regional referral center for women with high-risk pregnancies, supported by its Level III NICU providing care for the most fragile newborns.

The Healthcare Aide in the Women's OPD supports physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in delivering safe, efficient, and patient-centered care to women attending outpatient clinics. The role involves assisting with patient care activities, maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment, and ensuring patient comfort throughout their visit.

Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with registration, clinic flow, and appointment coordination.
  • Escort patients to examination and treatment rooms as required.
  • Prepare consultation and examination rooms before and after patient visits.
  • Measure and record basic vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, height, and weight.
  • Assist nurses and physicians during examinations and minor procedures.
  • Ensure patient privacy, dignity, and comfort at all times.
  • Clean and disinfect equipment and clinical areas according to infection control standards.
  • Stock and replenish medical supplies, linens, and consumables.
  • Transport specimens, documents, and equipment within the department when required.
  • Assist patients with mobility needs and provide support during investigations or procedures.
  • Observe and report any changes in patient condition to the registered nurse or physician.
