Occupational Therapist – Children
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Salary: AED 24,000 – AED 27,000 per month

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Pediatric Occupational Therapist to provide assessment and therapy services to children with developmental and neurodevelopmental needs.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with children and be capable of developing individualized treatment plans focused on functional independence, sensory integration, motor development, and daily living skills.
Fluent Arabic is mandatory for this position.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive functional and occupational therapy assessments for children.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child's developmental and functional needs.
- Provide individual and group occupational therapy sessions.
- Support children with autism, developmental delays, ADHD, and sensory processing challenges.
- Address fine motor and gross motor development.
- Provide sensory integration interventions where appropriate.
- Support development of Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and functional independence.
- Monitor children's progress and modify treatment plans as required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation and therapy records.
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding children's progress and therapy goals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, psychologists, speech therapists, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate parents and caregivers on appropriate therapeutic activities and strategies that can be continued at home.
- Maintain professional standards, patient confidentiality, and applicable clinical requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy
. - Minimum 2 years of experience working with children
. - Pediatric Occupational Therapy experience is highly preferred.
- Experience supporting children with developmental and neurodevelopmental conditions.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy principles and interventions.
- Experience with fine/gross motor skills, sensory integration, ADLs, and functional independence.
- Fluent Arabic is mandatory.
- DOH License or DOH Eligibility is preferred / required according to the employer's licensing requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong clinical documentation and assessment skills.

DOH Occupational Therapist License: Required
