The Medical Coder will be responsible for accurately reviewing medical records and assigning appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS codes. The role involves OP coding, validating diagnosis and procedures, ensuring medical necessity, and following UAE/DOH regulations and insurance payer guidelines.
REQUIREMENTS- CPC / CCS Certification – Mandatory
- Medical Coding Certification Preferred
- Good knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT & HCPCS
- Strong knowledge of OP E/M & Procedure Coding
- Knowledge of Medical Necessity & Diagnosis–Procedure Validation
- Understanding of UAE / DOH Regulations & Insurance Payer Rules
- Good English Communication Skills – Mandatory
