We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Patient Aides to join our Nursing team across Long-Term Care (LTC) and Pediatric services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Must be able to complete all entries in the medical record within the time frames and sequence as applicable to the chronological history and relevance of the information.
- Documents procedures and results of any radiologic studies, laboratory tests and the patient’s story through the physician’s interaction under their care.
- Support patients with activities of daily living and personal care.
- Assist nursing staff in maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable patient environment.
- Provide compassionate support to patients and families.
- Follow established clinical, safety, and infection-control standards.
- Work collaboratively with nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team.
Requirement:
- Experience as a Patient Aide, Healthcare Assistant, Nursing Assistant, or similar role is required.
- Experience in LTC and Pediatric care is an advantage.
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and reliable.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
