Reem Hospital is looking for compassionate, dedicated, and patient-focused Registered Nurses – Mental Health to join our growing team. If you are passionate about supporting individuals with mental health conditions and delivering exceptional, patient-centered care, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities- Provide safe, high-quality mental health nursing care in accordance with hospital policies, professional standards, and evidence-based practices.
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and contribute to individualized care plans.
- Monitor and evaluate patients’ mental, emotional, and physical well-being, reporting any significant changes to the multidisciplinary team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and compliance.
- Support patients experiencing mental health challenges through therapeutic communication and crisis intervention techniques.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient documentation.
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment plans, coping strategies, and available support services.
- Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to promote positive patient outcomes.
- Promote a safe, respectful, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
- Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and quality standards at all times.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Valid DOH License or DOH Eligibility Letter.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in Mental Health, Psychiatry, Behavioral Health, Addiction Services, or a related specialty.
- Strong understanding of mental health disorders, therapeutic communication, and patient de-escalation techniques.
- Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality mental health care.
- Experience in inpatient psychiatric units, outpatient mental health services, or community mental health settings is preferred.
