Job Summary We are seeking a qualified and experienced Arabic-speaking Pharmacist to join our healthcare division in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate must possess a valid Department of Health (DOH) license or eligibility and have experience in pharmacy operations, medication dispensing, patient counselling, and regulatory compliance within the UAE healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities- Dispense prescription medications accurately in accordance with DOH regulations and pharmacy policies.
- Provide professional medication counselling to patients regarding dosage, administration, side effects, and drug interactions.
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential medication-related concerns.
- Ensure compliance with DOH regulations, UAE healthcare laws, and pharmacy operating procedures.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including stock monitoring, expiry checks, and medication storage.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, controlled medications, and pharmacy transactions.
- Process insurance prescriptions and coordinate with insurance providers regarding approvals and rejections.
- Communicate effectively with Arabic-speaking and English-speaking patients.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe medication management.
- Support pharmacy sales activities while maintaining ethical pharmaceutical practices.
- Ensure high standards of patient satisfaction and customer service.
- Maintain pharmacy cleanliness, organization, and readiness for regulatory inspections.
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or equivalent recognized qualification.
- Valid DOH Pharmacist License or DOH Eligibility – Mandatory.
- Previous experience working in a pharmacy in Abu Dhabi or elsewhere in the UAE is preferred.
- Fluency in Arabic is mandatory; proficiency in English is required.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, medication dispensing, and drug interactions.
- Familiarity with UAE health insurance systems and pharmacy billing procedures.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period will be preferred.
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
