MAIN PURPOSE OF JOBTo ensure that quality and safe patient care is delivered by co-ordinating and facilitating the management of clinical and non-clinical resources as well as support services in the facility
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREASEssential:
Bachelor of Nursing from a recognised Nursing Institute
Desired:
Master of Science in Nursing or related Healthcare field
Essential:
At least 3-5 years’ senior nursing experience, preferably in a private hospital
Experience as Duty Manager/Shift In Charge/Nursing Supervisor in a hospital setting within an acute care Hospital setting
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE- Application of the nursing scope of practice
- Comprehensive knowledge of patient care across disciplines
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements
- Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications
- Delivery of advanced nursing care in emergency or complicated situations
- Financial management principles
- Quality management and governance standards and best practice
- Risk management principles, systems and best practice
- Utilisation of relevant clinical equipment
- Verbal and written communication skills in English
