SEHA, a Pure Health subsidiary, is the largest healthcare network in Abu Dhabi, providing advanced healthcare services to millions of patients annually through 14 world-class hospitals and a network of specialized healthcare facilities.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Medical Tourism to lead and expand our international patient services program, positioning SEHA as a preferred destination for medical tourism and specialized healthcare in the region.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute the medical tourism strategy to attract international patients and drive organizational growth.
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with international healthcare providers, insurance companies, embassies, government entities, and medical tourism facilitators.
- Lead the end-to-end international patient journey, ensuring exceptional patient experience and service excellence.
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and marketing teams to promote SEHA's services across international markets.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the organization's global presence through targeted initiatives and partnerships.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to strengthen market positioning.
- Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi healthcare regulations, quality standards, and international patient service requirements.
- Develop and manage budgets, business plans, performance metrics, and periodic management reports.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Medical Tourism team to achieve strategic objectives and operational excellence.
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Hospital Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-8 years of progressive experience in medical tourism, international patient services, healthcare business development, hospital operations, or healthcare management.
- Proven track record of developing, managing, and growing successful medical tourism programs.
- Strong understanding of international patient management, revenue generation, and healthcare marketing strategies.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, business development, and communication skills.
- Experience working within the Abu Dhabi healthcare sector is highly desirable.
