The Role:
The HRBP is responsible for overseeing daily HR operationsstore level, acting as a strategic partner to Store Management. The role involves alignment of HR initiatives with business goals, driving employee engagement, operational excellence, and implementing HR strategies for talent development and performance management. Success factors include effective collaboration with store leadership, fostering a strong culture, and addressing people-related challenges through effective HR solutions.
What You Will Do:Strategy and Organization
- Translate the People Strategy to align with Al Futtaim Retail People strategy at the store level.
- Design and recommend an optimum organization structure in coordination with management for efficient performance.
- Partner with leadership to identify talent needs and develop recruitment strategies.
- Accountable for Manpower Cost & Budget planning, ensuring efficient utilization of the budget.
- Conduct annual manpower budgeting accurately and efficiently.
- Act as a point of contact for coworker concerns and grievances, ensuring HR policies are applied consistently.
- Manage Employee Relations cases according to Local laws & AFG Policy & Code of conduct.
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws and Group policies throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Communicate and implement changes to HR policies and procedures.
- Guide performance appraisal processes and support the development of performance improvement plans.
- Establish a values-driven store culture, inspiring decision-making based on Al-Futtaim values.
- Lead change management efforts and implement strategies for equality, diversity, and inclusion.
- Develop initiatives to enhance employee engagement, recognition, and retention.
- Develop a fair and accessible Succession Plan, maintaining strong bench strength.
- Mentor managers to enhance leadership skills and develop their teams.
- Create a continuous improvement environment for learning and development opportunities for all coworkers.
- Influencing and strong communication skills.
- Capability in coaching and mentoring managers.
- Commercial acumen melding context and content.
- Expertise in stakeholder management and change management.
The Role:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HR business partnering, with a preference for retail industry experience.
- Skills in budget planning, business acumen, data analysis, project management, change management, and stakeholder management.
- Knowledge of HRIS and SAP.
