We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our team and drive advanced analytics initiatives in the public sector finance domain. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in machine learning, predictive analytics, and financial forecasting, and will act as a key advisor, model developer, and knowledge transfer facilitator.

• Deployment of a machine learning-based anomaly detection system, including reports of detected anomalies and recommended mitigation actions.
• Roadmap and integration plan for advanced analytics use cases within the Financial Foresight Platform.
• Implementation of an automated reconciliation system integrated between FMIS and TMS, supported by anomaly detection capabilities.
• Scenario analysis reports detailing identified risks, compliance gaps, and ML model outputs to support decision-making.
• Development of predictive models for debt management and reporting on optimal debt strategies.
• Insights and visual reports on the influence of external economic indicators and trends on national financial planning.
• Identification and documentation of additional use cases, along with recommendations for refining and optimizing existing analytics models.

• Proficiency in Python, R, or similar languages for machine learning.
• Hands-on experience with data platforms and cloud-based analytics.
• Strong understanding of public sector finance and economic modeling.
• Experience in dashboard development using Tableau is a plus.
• The individual will act as an advisor, model developer, and knowledge transfer facilitator to build internal capacity.
