** Job Purpose
** We are seeking a highly skilled AI/ML Engineer with expertise in Data Science to design, implement, and deliver advanced AI-driven solutions for the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in Python, machine learning, and data analytics, combined with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with customers to solve complex business challenges.

The individual is also responsible for owning AI/ML business outcomes and implementation strategy while supporting
** Digital Enterprise Business Unit** **/ Solution Division
** in developing a differentiation in a high-growth competitive environment in Yokogawa Middle East & Africa region.
** Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
*** Implement AI/ML solutions using Python and perform data analysis in collaboration with CoE solution architects with Oil & Gas domain expertise.
* Conduct technical analysis leveraging AI/ML technologies and Data Science skills, including gathering requirements, performing gap analysis, and identifying opportunities to apply AI/ML to solve customer challenges.
* Provide guidance on suitable AI/ML and data analytics solutions, and support business portfolio management, solution design, and demonstrations.
* Ensure client expectations are clearly understood and met through the application of AI/ML and Data Science solutions.
* Manage the timely and high-quality completion of assigned deliverables.
* Ensure adherence to AI/ML and Data Science best practices and methodologies throughout project execution.
* Offer expert knowledge and experience to estimate the technical effort required for implementing complex AI solutions.
** Qualification and

Experience:

*** Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science with a focus on AI/ML/Data Science, plus a minimum of 2 years of industry experience in AI-based software development or related engineering disciplines.
* Willingness and ability to travel across the Yokogawa Middle East & Africa region.
** Skills
* ** Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, and ability to energize and work effectively within a team.
* Proficiency in Python programming with demonstrated experience in implementing AI/ML solutions.
* Solid understanding of machine learning concepts (e.g., Supervised, Unsupervised Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Large Language Models) and hands-on experience applying algorithms such as Linear Regression, K-Means, Support Vector Machines, XGBoost, etc in Python.
* Comprehensive knowledge of Data Science, including statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization techniques.
* Experience with cloud-based machine learning platforms (e.g., Azure ML Studio, AWS Sage Maker) is a plus.
* Familiarity with Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, or specialized chemical domains is an advantage.
