Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IT Administrator to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT administration and a proven track record of managing complex IT systems. The IT Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our company's IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of all systems and applications.
- Manage and maintain all aspects of the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and applications
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems
- Ensure data security and backup procedures are in place and regularly tested
- Provide technical support to end-users and resolve any IT-related issues
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and efficiency of the company's systems
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in IT technology and recommend improvements to the company's systems
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address any IT needs or concerns
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT products and services
- Train and support employees on the use of IT systems and applications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT administration or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of network and server administration, including Windows and Linux operating systems
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper‑V
- Familiarity with cloud computing and storage solutions
- Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, are a plus
