About the job Senior Data Management Consultant
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Management Consultant to join our client. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management consultancy and data analysis, with the ability to drive business improvements through data-driven insights. The first project is an Oracle Fusion implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct data requirements gathering sessions with business and technical subject matter experts
- Perform comprehensive data analysis and develop data reports to support business decision-making
- Create visually appealing and informative data visualizations using PowerBI
- Execute root cause data analysis to identify and solve complex business problems
- Establish and monitor data quality metrics to ensure data integrity
- Ensure compliance with governance and program standards in all data-related activities
- Develop and implement data models and architecture to support business objectives
Required Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in management consultancy with a focus on data management
- Strong proficiency in SQL and/or Python for data manipulation and analysis
- Extensive experience with Power
BI for data visualization and reporting - In-depth knowledge of the DAMA (Data Management Association) framework or similar methodologies
- Proven ability to perform root cause data analysis and implement data quality metrics
- Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of Oracle EBS/OCF systems
- Experience in data modeling and data architecture development
- Familiarity with data governance best practices and industry standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business recommendations
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Adaptability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
