Overview
Our client, one of the fastest growing public safety and security solutions organisations globally, is looking to recruit a qualified and experienced Video Analytics Expert to their UAE research and development team. Our employer seeks a proven performer to assist on their main projects in the region, which include the implementation of advanced integrated security solutions for critical assets, safe city and border protection.
The Video Analytics Expert's role is to lead all analytics activities on site and is part of the maintenance group. The Video Analytics Expert is responsible for Video Analytics (VA) application operation, VA planning and implementation of design concepts. The role also involves responsibility for maintain existing analytics detection rules in the system.
Reporting to the Data Center Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Configure VA roles following security operational requirements of the authorities. Ensure the appropriate false alarm (FAR) and proof of design (POD) for each installation
- Review all existing CCTV installations (as all cameras are candidate for VA)
- Review all existing VA configuration
- Establish procedure with the operator and security officer to alert in any FAR or non detection problems
- Submit a report for camera alignment and modification required activities
- Create collaboration with the maintenance team on CCTV activities (cleaning cameras, setup CCTV, handle vegetation in field of view (FOV)
- New VA versions implementation
The attribute we seek include:
- B.Sc. / BA degree in computer sciences or other engineering area advantage
- Proficient in Field Engineering processes and escalation
- Software: MS Office
- 3 years’ experience with CCTV and Video Analytics systems
- Understanding Video Surveillance / Video Analytics / Security principles
- Experience in Video Management Systems - Advantage
- Run Analytics training course
