Systems Administrator, IT Support, Network Administrator

is seeking a qualified and experienced IT Officer (school experience mandatory) to oversee and support the school’s IT infrastructure and daily technology operations.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Google Admin Console and Microsoft 365 administration
, as well as hands‑on experience in Network & Infrastructure Management
, including configuration and management of firewalls, switches, VLANs, access points, and AVAYA systems. This role requires a proactive professional capable of supporting both academic and administrative technology needs efficiently and securely.

Key Responsibilities 1. IT Infrastructure & Network Management- Manage and maintain the school’s IT infrastructure including servers, firewalls, switches, VLANs, access points, and structured cabling.
- Configure and monitor network security, performance, and uptime.
- Manage and support AVAYA telephony systems.
- Ensure data security, backup systems, and disaster recovery processes are in place and functioning.
- Administer Google Admin Console (user accounts, groups, security policies, device management).
- Manage Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, licensing, user provisioning).
- Maintain DNS records including MX, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configurations.
- Ensure smooth email and collaboration platform operations.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, interactive boards, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network‑related issues.
- Provide timely technical support to staff and administration.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
- Provide day‑to‑day IT support to teaching and administrative staff.
- Assist with classroom technology integration.
- Support online learning platforms and digital tools.
- Conduct basic IT orientation and training sessions for staff when required.
- Support ERP systems (experience with Orison ERP preferred).
- Support school timetabling systems (experience with ASC Timetables – ASC TT preferred).
- Ensure all school applications run efficiently and securely.
- Maintain IT policies and procedures.
- Prepare IT reports when required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Mandatory prior experience in a school IT environment (UAE preferred).
- Strong hands‑on experience in:
- Google Admin Console
- Microsoft 365 Administration
- Firewall & Network Management
- VLAN configuration
- Wireless Access Points
- AVAYA systems
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel (advanced level).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with Orison ERP
- Experience with ASC Timetables (ASC TT)
- Knowledge of ADEK IT compliance requirements
- Experience in multi‑branch school environments
- Salary Range: AED 5000 - 6000 (max)
