Inception is seeking a highly proficient and accomplished Applied Scientist, with a proven track record, to develop efficient deep-learning and generative AI algorithms and conceive innovative AI-centric models. • Engage in the design, analysis and optimization of foundational and applied research to power state-of-the-art AI algorithms and model capabilities s involves staying well-informed of emerging trends, understanding and manipulating complex datasets, and conceptualizing models that are innovative and applicable to real-world scenarios.
• Work on comprehensive solutions that integrate various modalities, including text, audio, and visual data, enhancing the AI’s ability to understand and interpret human interaction in a nuanced manner.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers across teams at Inception for the design, development, and continual improvement of AI algorithms, ensuring implementations are optimized for efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
• Work alongside product development teams to integrate new algorithms and models into broader product offerings, conduct proofs of concept as per client needs, ensuring innovations translate into tangible benefits for users and stakeholders.
• Propose scenarios where AI techniques could improve the efficiency of customers’ businesses.
• Provide pre‑sales and post‑sales technical support to the business development team.

Skills and attributes for success include cost savings achieved, number of use cases investigated & datasets mined, number of innovations/POCs deployed, number of existing processes optimized, and customer NPS.

• M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree in computer science, engineering, or AI-related field. Specialization in Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing or Speech and Audio are highly desirable.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in developing AI algorithms for various modalities.
• Track record of conducting high-level research, preferably evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed journals or a history of product-driven research and development.

• A highly curious and inquisitive approach to problem‑solving.
• In-depth knowledge of the latest developments in AI and machine learning.
• Excellent communication skills.
