The Events Operations Analyst supports the creation, configuration and onboarding of new markets on the platform. The analyst drafts market specifications, configures the supporting reference data and shepherds new listings through the platform's review workflow into production. The role works under the direct supervision of a senior member of the Events Operations team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Create new event and market records, including outcome configuration, resolution criteria, schedule parameters and the supporting data references.
- Draft resolution criteria that are unambiguous, exhaustive and verifiable against the underlying data source.
- Submit new listings for compliance and technical review, and respond to review feedback through to approval.
- Maintain market lifecycle records across workflow stages and effect orderly handover to the Trading Operations team at the appropriate point.
- Maintain the master data and reference catalogues underpinning new market listings, including fixture, event and data-provider records.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance, economics, mathematics, computer science, sports analytics or a related discipline.
- 2 to 3 years of market operations, product operations, content operations or contract-specification experience at a regulated trading venue, prediction market, data provider or comparable environment.
- Strong written expression, particularly in respect of structured technical or contract specifications.
- Demonstrable experience operating within maker-checker or four-eyes workflows.
- Competence with workflow tools, spreadsheets and structured data inputs.
- Exposure to outcome-based or derivative contract specification.
- Familiarity with third-party event data feeds and the management of event identifiers.
- Full-time, on-site. Availability aligned to the listing schedule of upcoming markets required, which may include hours outside standard business hours.
- Subject to background screening, sanctions and adverse-media checks at engagement and on an ongoing basis.
