Data Analytics & Business Support Specialist

JOB PURPOSE

The Data Analytics & Business Support Specialist is responsible for transforming data into actionable insights to support business decision-making. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate reporting, identify trends, and improve operational efficiency through data-driven solutions.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources to support business operations.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations (e.g., Power BI, Excel)
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across systems
• Automate recurring reports to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting to support business needs
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver relevant insights
• Support operational teams with data-driven recommendations
• Assist in business planning, forecasting, and performance tracking
• Identify opportunities to improve data processes and reporting workflows
• Recommend tools and solutions to enhance data quality and efficiency
• Contribute to the development of best practices in data management

QUALIFICATION & EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & KNOWLEDGE

Qualifications & Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Relevant certification (e.g., Data Analytics, Power BI, Tableau).
• Master’s degree or postgraduate diploma is advantageous.
• Data Analytics certificate.
• High proficiency in English/Business correspondence required.

Experience:

• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Data Analysis or similar role
• Proven leadership experience managing Data analytics.
• Strong background in business analysis, KPI development, and performance reporting.
• Supply Chain Experience is added advantage.

Training & Knowledge:

• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Advanced proficiency in data analysis and dashboarding tools (e.g., Power BI or Tableau).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
