Solution Architect - Banking

The Solution Architect is responsible for designing and governing end‑to‑end IT solutions for the Swiss Booking Center, ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant architectures. The role focuses on defining clear system boundaries between the UAE and Swiss IT landscapes, supporting vendor selection, and embedding regulatory, security, and non‑functional requirements into the design.

• Design end‑to‑end solution architectures covering core banking, digital, integration, data, and security domains.
• Define and govern system boundaries, data flows, and integrations between UAE and Swiss IT environments.
• Embed data segregation, access control, and regulatory compliance into solution designs.
• Define and validate non‑functional requirements, including resilience, scalability, performance, and disaster recovery.
• Evaluate vendor reference architectures and provide architecture inputs during RFP and solution selection.
• Support wealth management technology stacks that are API‑driven and modular.
• Define and assess cloud, on‑premise, and hybrid deployment models.
• Produce architecture design documents and diagrams, and provide input to architecture governance forums.

• 8–12+ years of IT experience with proven exposure to solution architecture.
• Experience in banking or wealth management technology.
• Strong understanding of core banking and wealth platforms, API‑led integration architectures, data architecture, information security principles, and cloud and hybrid environments.
• Experience working with multi‑vendor and cross‑border IT landscapes.
• Strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF, Cloud Architect) preferred.
