Role Summary
The IT Project Manager will be responsible for the successful technical planning, execution, and delivery of the Credit Automation and Digitization Project. He/she will act as the central point of contact for all technology-related aspects, coordinating between internal IT stakeholders, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure teams, and external technology vendors. The ideal candidate shall have a strong background in banking technology, system integration, and software delivery, coupled with a proven track record of managing complex digital transformation projects within the Banking or Financial services sector.
This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise, understanding of banking systems – especially credit and lending platforms – and exceptional project management skills to ensure the technology solution.
- Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. - Project Management
Experience:
A minimum of 7-10 years of IT project management experience with at least 5 years spent leading large-scale software implementation or system integration projects within the banking or financial services industry. - Banking Technology Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of banking IT landscapes including core banking systems (e.g., Temenos T24, loan origination systems LOS) and enterprise service buses (ESB) or API gateways. - Implementation
Experience:
Demonstrable experience in successfully managing the technical delivery of at least one major enterprise-grade workflow automation, BPM, or low-code platform implementation from start to finish. - AI/ML Technical
Experience:
Experience managing IT projects involving the deployment and integration of AI/ML models with an understanding of data engineering and MLOps principles. - Solution Architecture & Integration Oversight:
Proven ability to oversee complex system integrations, validate technical architectures, and manage API-driven connectivity across diverse platforms. - Data Migration & Cutover:
Hands‑on experience planning and executing complex data migrations, technical cutovers, and disaster recovery testing for mission‑critical banking applications. - Newgen
Experience:
Hands‑on technical experience or project management experience with the Newgen workflow automation platform or similar enterprise-grade BPM low‑code platforms is a significant advantage. - Certifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum Master certifications. ITIL or enterprise architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF) are a plus. - Advanced Degree: A Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field is preferred.
