Role Summary
The System Integrator Design Authority (SI DA) acts as the central technical governance body responsible for approving and maintaining design integrity across all customer and internal infrastructure projects. The role ensures end-to-end architectural consistency across multi-vendor platforms, aligning delivery with operational excellence and business strategy.
Responsibilities- Define and maintain design standards, templates, and reference architectures for WAN, LAN, SD‑WAN, data center, security, WLAN, and voice solutions.
- Produce, validate, and approve HLDs, LLDs, and BOQs before submission or implementation.
- Ensure technical alignment with vendor best practices (Cisco, Huawei, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Aruba, Ribbon, etc.).
- Conduct design peer reviews and risk assessments for new customer or internal infrastructure deployments.
- Act as final escalation point for design‑related issues during project execution.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and Delivery Managers to ensure technical feasibility and operational sustainability.
- Drive standardization of design processes across multi‑domain teams: network, security, voice, data center, passive infra.
- Lead technology evaluation and roadmap discussions with OEMs for emerging technologies.
- Support bid responses and RFP reviews ensuring solution alignment with organizational standards.
- Develop documentation frameworks for network blueprints, topology diagrams, and architecture validation checklists.
- Liaise with operations and service assurance teams to ensure designs are supportable and fault‑tolerant.
- 7+ years in networking, security, or infrastructure solution design – preferably within ISP or large enterprise environments.
- Proven experience across multi‑vendor integration (Cisco, Huawei, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Aruba, etc.).
- Hands‑on expertise in SD‑WAN, SD‑Access, Cisco ACI, and MPLS‑based service architectures.
- In‑depth understanding of network automation, orchestration, and managed services frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of L2–L7 protocols, network security frameworks, and cloud integration.
- Excellent documentation, stakeholder communication, and leadership skills.
- CCIE, CCDP, NSE, PCNSE, or equivalent vendor expert‑level certifications.
- Technically authoritative yet approachable for mentoring teams.
- Analytical mindset with ability to balance innovation and standardization.
- Strong governance approach while remaining solution‑oriented.
- Capable of interfacing with executives, customers, and technical teams simultaneously.
