- Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of enterprise data platforms across on‑premise and cloud environments
- Manage day‑to‑day production operations for data platforms, ensuring service continuity and operational excellence
- Lead incident and problem management processes, including root‑cause analysis, resolution tracking, and post‑incident reviews
- Conduct regular service review meetings with business lines to discuss incidents, problems, and overall service performance
- Coordinate with infrastructure, data platforms, and data engineering teams to resolve operational issues effectively
Implement and enforce operational best practices, including change management, release governance, and service controls - Support audit, risk, and compliance requirements related to production operations
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance platform stability, resilience, and service quality
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to production support team members
- Overall experience of 12 years or more in production support and operations management for enterprise data platforms
- Strong knowledge of data platform technologies such as Cloudera, Azure Databricks, Power BI, and Informatica
- Hands‑on experience with incident and problem management frameworks, including ITIL‑based practices
- Proficiency with monitoring tools, operational dashboards, and performance reporting
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead service review forums
- Prior experience within banking or financial services environments preferred
- Lead mission‑critical data platform operations within the UAE's largest bank
- Work across modern data technologies and hybrid cloud environments
- Collaborate closely with business and technology stakeholders at enterprise scale
