About the Role
We are seeking a motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team in Dubai. In this entry-level role you will provide first-line technical assistance, maintain system stability, and ensure excellent customer service for internal users.
Responsibilities- Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems on Windows and Linux systems.
- Manage user accounts and permissions.
- Monitor network performance and assist with network support tasks.
- Record, track, and escalate support tickets using help desk software.
- Communicate effectively with end users to understand and address their needs.
- Assist in the installation and configuration of IT equipment and peripherals.
- 0-1 years of experience in IT support or a related role.
- Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux administration.
- Hands‑on technical troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with network support fundamentals: LAN, WAN, TCP/IP.
- Experience using help desk software (e.g., Service Now, Jira).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Associate degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic.
- Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Virtual Box).
- Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
