This role provides comprehensive IT support and infrastructure services at Enerflex.
Principle Responsibilities and Duties- Provide Tier I and II support for desktops, network printing, and supported software.
- Provide Tier I and II support for business tools such as SAP and other software as required.
- Ensure operational stability and reliability of the site infrastructure that supports the productivity tools and business systems of Enerflex.
- Responsible for the delivery of some onsite IT Infrastructure administrative services which may include (and not limited to) security services, access control and security infrastructure management, backups and restoration.
- Participate in IT project services initiatives that include solution design.
- Provide onsite technical support as required.
- Build image IT equipment, manage assets, inventory of hardware and deploy to end users completing the Windows 10 deployment.
- Perform all new hire and terminations process.
- Comply with all audit requirements, processes and answer audit questions.
- Take phone calls, emails from customers and log tickets.
- Provide presentations and follow up with users on technical issues including and not limited to cyber security.
- Conduct IT Orientation session with all newcomers and as required when introducing new software updates.
- Comply with all Enerflex HR, Quality, HSE and all the Company policies, procedures, processes, work instructions and guidelines.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
- Degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent; ITIL certification or experience would be an asset.
- Experience with Service Desk ticketing and phone system tools is required.
- Knowledge of engineering tools, such as CAD is strongly recommended.
- Working experience with Bit Locker, SCCM, Skype-for-Business/MS Teams would be an asset.
- Able to converse in English. Arabic is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of IT Infrastructure (desktop hardware and software, network infrastructure, servers and communication systems).
- Broad understanding of technologies used in manufacturing and service business.
- Proven ability to successfully collaborate with a group of systems and business professionals in a service-group capacity.
- Takes initiative to identify opportunities and problems and ensure appropriate action is taken.
- Able to work under pressure and with the team in developing improved work processes for the department.
