This role supports the Infrastructure & Operations function by transforming raw observability data into clear, actionable insights. The Observability Reporting Analyst ensures leadership has visibility into system reliability, performance trends, and incident patterns enabling proactive decision‑making and continuous service improvement across FAB's technology landscape.

• Reporting & Dashboard Development
  • Develop automated Power BI, Tableau, Grafana, or Kibana dashboards for system health, availability, and incident KPIs.
  • Create executive summaries, operational scorecards, and periodic performance trend reports.
  • Translate logs, traces, and metrics from platforms like Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace, or Service Now into meaningful insights.
  • Standardize metric definitions across teams to ensure data consistency and comparability.
  • Support self‑service reporting by building reusable datasets and training technical teams.
• Operational & Performance Analytics
  • Monitor and report on MTTR, MTTD, uptime, alert volume, SLA/SLO adherence, ticket ageing, and incident recurrence.
  • Surface early‑warning indicators, recurring operational pain points, and service reliability bottlenecks.
  • Contribute to capacity forecasts using infrastructure and incident data patterns.
  • Participate in incident reviews/post‑mortems and quantify customer and service impact.
• Governance & Quality Assurance
  • Maintain a centralized reporting repository, data dictionary, and reporting governance model.
  • Ensure reporting outputs meet audit, compliance, and regulatory expectations for performance transparency.
  • Collaborate with I&O, Dev Ops, PMO, and Service Management teams to refine reporting standards.
  • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and completeness of telemetry and time‑series datasets used in reporting.
• Continuous Improvement
  • Advance automation, ETL pipelines, alerting logic, and visualization capabilities.
  • Introduce new reporting methods that enhance operational visibility and reduce manual effort.
  • Support teams in adopting a data‑driven operations culture.

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Grafana, Looker, or Kibana.
• Strong understanding of observability concepts: logs, metrics, traces, APM tools.
• Experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog, Elastic, Service Now, or similar platforms.
• Deep knowledge of operational KPIs: MTTR, MTBF, MTTD, SLA/SLO, incident trends.
• Skilled in ETL, data modeling, and building pipelines for telemetry‑driven reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and requirements‑gathering abilities.
• Attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and disciplined version control practices.
