D365 F&O Consultant; Techno-Functional

Responsibilities

Act as the in‑house techno‑functional owner of D365 Finance & Operations across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash & Bank, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Procurement, Inventory, Project Accounting and Expense Management. Manage day‑to‑day platform operations including month‑end and year‑end close support, master data governance, posting setups and integration runs. Design and review technical solutions, including extensions to X, Chain of Command data entities, OData, Logic Apps and Power Platform.

Lead integration architecture across D365 Customer Engagement, Microsoft 365, Power BI, Liferay DXP, the TAMM platform, e‑payment gateways and host‑to‑host banking channels. Govern the LCS environment landscape, role‑based security, segregation of duties, UAT and regression testing, and CAB‑based change control.

Manage Microsoft implementation partners and managed service providers across SOWs, SLAs, escalations and performance reviews. Own the multi‑year D365 F&O roadmap, including upgrades, new module roll‑outs and Copilot AI enablement to maximize ROI. Ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE VAT, UAE Corporate Tax, FTA e‑invoicing, ISO
27001 and UAE PDPL, and support internal and external audit cycles.

Maintain expert‑level D365 F&O functional knowledge across Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Project Accounting and Budget Control, including X and Chain of Command extensions, Data Management Framework, OData, BYOD, Synapse Link and RSAT‑based test automation. Manage Power Platform assets, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Copilot Studio, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management, Lifecycle Services (LCS), Visual Studio, Azure Dev Ops, Electronic Reporting, Financial Reporter, SSRS and Power BI.

Demonstrate strong stakeholder, vendor and SLA governance skills and ability to operate from board‑level briefings to configuration‑level detail.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
Master’s preferred. 12+ years on Dynamics AX / D365 Finance & Operations (most recent 5 on cloud), with 5+ full‑lifecycle implementations. MB‑310 and MB‑330 certifications mandatory; MB‑700, MB‑500, PL‑600 preferred. Hands‑on experience with UAE VAT, UAE Corporate Tax and FTA e‑invoicing; familiarity with UAE government and semi‑government systems.
