Role Overview
The SAP PMO Analyst supports the Project Management Office (PMO) in planning, executing and monitoring SAP programs and projects. This role ensures governance, reporting and coordination across SAP initiatives, enabling successful delivery aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Support PMO governance frameworks, standards, and methodologies across SAP projects. Ensure adherence to project management processes, templates, and tools. Coordinate across functional teams (SAP MM, SD, FICO, etc.) and stakeholders. Assist in project planning, scheduling, and milestone tracking.

Prepare weekly and monthly project status reports, dashboards, and KPIs. Track project progress, risks, issues, and dependencies. Maintain RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and provide data-driven insights to project managers and leadership.

Support budget tracking, cost monitoring and forecasting. Track resource allocation and utilization across SAP projects. Assist in vendor tracking and contract compliance if applicable.

Identify, log and track risks and issues across SAP programs. Follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution and escalation of critical risks to PMO leadership.

Maintain project documentation repository. Ensure audit readiness and compliance with organizational standards. Support stage-gate reviews and quality assurance processes.

Work with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, SAP Solution Manager). Ensure accurate and up-to-date project data in PM tools and support reporting automation where possible.
Skills & Qualifications
- Education
:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field. - Experience
: 2–5 years of experience in PMO, project coordination or SAP project support. Exposure to SAP projects, implementation, rollout support or migration. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management with a proven track record of successful delivery in diverse industries. - Technical Skills
:
Basic understanding of SAP modules (MM, SD, FICO, etc.). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, advanced PowerPoint, and project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet). Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager or SAP Activate methodology. Preference for experience with S/4
HANA. - Core Competencies
:
Strong analytical and reporting skills; excellent communication and stakeholder coordination; attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Certifications (desirable):
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification; PMO certification or exposure to PMP, PRINCE2; knowledge of Agile, Waterfall methodologies.
