Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Define and manage the deliverables of the plan to build an MES functional team that meets engagement objectives and program budget.
- Serve as a hands‑on application expert, preparing and reviewing project deliverables such as process design documents, key designs, to‑be functional requirements, enterprise structure, baseline configurations, process maps, control matrices, testing scenarios, user acceptance tests, and business process procedures to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Take responsibility for design validation, configuration implementation, functional technical support, and maintenance.
- Configure and maintain SAP S/4 ERP manufacturing components that support Manufacturing Execution and Planning.
- Act as a key member of the project team throughout the lifecycle, providing implementation support and preparing the business for the system solution.
- Offer guidance to business users on the appropriate use of the SAP system.
- Provide post‑production support, including bug fixes, resolution of customer support tickets, and implementation of new change requests.
- 10+years of SAP functional experience, specializing in functional design and implementation of manufacturing execution solutions on SAP ME & MII within the SAP S/4
HANA platform. - At least two end‑to‑end SAP ME implementations.
- Experience with SAP MII‑based MES implementation and support.
- Basic knowledge of SAP PP and familiarity with interfaces between SAP ERP/S/4
HANA and SAP ME. - Proven ability to gather business requirements, create detailed designs, perform SAP ME configurations, write specifications for custom programs, conduct testing, coordinate transport to production, and provide post‑go‑live support.
- Deep understanding of multiple SAP modules and ability to research and apply business best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, with demonstrated ability to explain project goals, status, and deliverables to senior executives.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Capacity to remain composed under pressure in ambiguous and complex situations, with independent thinking.
