Senior Architect, Shared Business Services

Key Accountabilities

• Own the solution architecture governance and alignment with Enterprise Architecture principles.
• Ensure services are secure, compliant and scalable in line with bank’s enterprise guidelines.
• Drive modernization and innovation.

• Build-to-Run Accountability
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture team and Define/maintain target‑state architectures for content lifecycle platforms.
  • Govern API, metadata, eventing and integration standards.
  • Lead strategic programs: DMS upgrade, Archival modernization, Capture automation, Regional DR.
  • Ensure compliance with UAECB, TDRA, SAMA, PDPL/GDPR.
• Governance & Operational Efficiency
  • Adheres to all FAB Security and IT policies and procedures.
• Leadership & Performance Accountability
  • Define clear, measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each team member and the team.
  • Monitor performance through regular reviews and data‑driven insights.
  • Identify gaps, provide coaching, and implement performance improvement plans and continuous learning.
• Collaboration & Communication
  • Must follow Agile, Dev Ops, ITSM, EA and security governance.
  • Align major architectural decisions and help the team in securing required approvals.
  • Govern vendor technology evaluations.
  • Ensure adherence to data governance and privacy standards.
  • Adheres to all FAB H&S policies and Procedure as laid out by the Group.

• Architecture & Solution Design: 12+ years of experience in crafting scalable, secure, and compliant architectures across Enterprise systems.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Governance Alignment: 10+ years of working with business leaders and technical teams to ensure strategic alignment.
• SDLC & Service Management Expertise: 10+ years of deep knowledge in software development lifecycle and service operations in complex environments.
• Cloud & Infrastructure Architecture (AWS/Azure):
  Minimum 2 years of practical experience in designing cloud‑native solutions.
