Systems Engineer – OT Security Platforms
Region: GCC Travel Required A rapidly growing technology organisation is looking for a hands‑on Systems Engineer to lead the deployment of OT cybersecurity platforms across critical infrastructure projects in the GCC. This is not a consulting or advisory role. We are looking for a delivery‑focused engineer who can install, integrate, commission, and formally hand over complex OT security solutions within live industrial environments.
You will play a key role across government, oil & gas, utilities, and power sector engagements – working directly on high‑security, nationally significant infrastructure.
- Leading full lifecycle OT security platform deployments (installation, integration, FAT/SAT, commissioning, handover)
- Integrating platforms with network infrastructure, data historians, and SIEM tools (e.g. Splunk)
- Configuring passive OT asset discovery and validating data integrity
- Supporting SOC integration including alert workflows and detection tuning
- Acting as the primary on‑site technical lead across multiple client engagements
- Producing all technical documentation including test plans, integration baselines, and as‑built packs
- 5–7 years’ experience deploying technology platforms in live OT/IT environments
- Strong experience running FAT, SAT, commissioning, and formal acceptance processes
- Experience integrating OT security or industrial monitoring solutions
- Understanding of OT network architecture (Purdue Model, segmentation, DMZ)
- Knowledge of industrial protocols (Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850, OPC‑UA, Profinet)
- Experience working in high‑security or critical infrastructure environments
- Highly advantageous
- Exposure to AI‑driven security platforms or next‑gen SOC solutions
- GCC delivery experience
- IEC 62443 awareness
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GICSP
You are delivery‑first. You take ownership from kickoff through to signed client acceptance. You are technically rigorous, comfortable operating independently on‑site, and able to manage multiple infrastructure projects without compromising quality.
