Responsibilities
- Lead full‑cycle Oracle ERP implementations and upgrades from requirements gathering through go‑live and post‑production hyper‑care support.
- Conduct detailed fit‑gap analysis and map Construction and Oil & Gas business processes to Oracle ERP functionalities.
- Configure and test Oracle Cloud Fusion modules ensuring alignment with project‑driven industry workflows (EPC, LSTK, cost‑plus contracts). Support project cost tracking, budget control, and revenue recognition processes specific to long‑term construction and O G contracts.
- Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, data migrations, and RICEW object development.
- Design and execute unit testing (SIT, UAT) and support regression testing cycles across all modules.
- Develop and maintain functional design documents, configuration workbooks, and end‑user training materials.
- Liaise with the IT Manager to prioritize system enhancements, manage change requests, and report project status.
- Coordinate with Finance, Procurement, HR, and Project Management departments to gather requirements and drive adoption.
- Monitor Oracle quarterly release updates, assess business impact, and recommend feature rollouts relevant to the industry.
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulatory requirements including VAT, WPS payroll, and local statutory reporting.
- Minimum 5 years of hands‑on Oracle Functional Consultant experience, with at least 2–3 full‑cycle Oracle Cloud/Fusion ERP implementation projects.
- Strong functional expertise in at least two core modules:
Finance, SCM, HCM, or Project Portfolio Management (PPM). - Proven experience working in the Construction and/or Oil & Gas industry – understanding of EPC project structures, cost control, and contract management is essential.
- Solid knowledge of Oracle AIM or OUM implementation methodology.
- Proficiency in creating BRD, FRD, configuration guides, test scripts, and training documentation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to work cross‑functionally.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Oracle Cloud certification in Finance, SCM, HCM, or PPM.
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), OTBI, and BIP reporting.
- Knowledge of IFRS
15 revenue recognition standards applicable to long‑term contracts. - Experience with data migration tools – FBDI, ADFDI, and HDLPMP.
- PRINCE2 certification is an advantage.
- Prior experience working in the GCC region, preferably UAE or KSA.
