Automation Tester; Functional

Responsibilities

• Requirement analysis through BRD/FSD and creation of test scenarios and cases.
• Preparation of test documents: test plan, test strategy, status reports, and test closure reports.
• Test execution as part of ST, SIT, regression, and UAT support.
• Defect management and tracking with different teams.
• Automation of test cases on Edge and Chrome browsers using Selenium BDD framework; create flows from scratch.
• Effective log management for manual and automated test cases.
• Coordination with supporting application POCs for SIT execution.

• Bachelor’s degree of any stream.
• 4‑5+ years of experience in testing and the banking domain.
• Experience in payments testing (domestic fund transfers, salary processing, direct debit mandates, NPSS basic functionality; good to have).
• Experience working with Selenium Web Driver and one framework for 2‑3+ years.
• Basic knowledge and experience in transaction‑flow analysis through middleware systems such as IIB/MQs.
• Knowledge of different Swift financial and non‑financial MT messages and their formats.
• Experience with ISO
  20022 message standards (e.g., pacs
  008, pacs
  004, pain
  001).
• Thorough knowledge of T24 core system (preferable).
• Knowledge of multiple systems and their peripherals (highly preferred).
• Prior experience with a BDD framework (added advantage).
• Exposure to Jira tool.
• End‑to‑end knowledge of BFS payments flow.
• Selenium BDD experience.
• Effective defect and project tracking.
• Knowledge of test documents (test plan, strategy, scenarios, cases, test closure reports).
